In an effort to promote health and safety in our community, Westchester County is teaming up with the Cross County Shopping Center and Radio Disney to present "Be Safety Smart." Admission is free.
"Be Safety Smart" will feature exhibits and hands-on activities in a fun, fair-like atmosphere where parents, teens and young children can find out how to stay safe in their home, car and at play. Participants can find out more about Westchester's programs on bicycle & seat belt safety, STOP-DWI, Internet safety, gang prevention and much more! Teens will have a chance to try the county's new driving "Simulator," which allows people to experience the effects of alcohol & speeding without the consequences and Radio Disney will be there for younger children with lively, interactive music and dance performances. And, the Befit mobile will be there will games and fitness fun for the whole family.
